Getting around
The Brooks Centre is designed to be accessible and user friendly for all our visitors. The car park entrance is located on Friarsgate and car parking is on two levels below ground. There are over 300 spaces in the car park that have received the Secured Car Parks award. They are safe, well lit and have comprehensive CCTV coverage. Disabled parking and Parent and Child parking is available on both levels of the car park, located conveniently close to the atrium.

Car park rates are as follows:

Up to 1 hour – £1.30
Up to 2 hours – £2.70
Up to 3 hours – £3.00
Up to 4 hours – £4.00
Up to 6 hours (Saturday only) – £6.00

Shopmobility and Access
The Shopmobility office is located on the Upper Parking level of the centre. Use of the Shopmobility service is not restricted to the centre, if you wish you can take to the streets and explore the city further. Shopmobility is also part of the Bikeabout Scheme. There are 17 bikes available to rent and an annual membership costs £20. Please call Shopmobility on 01962 842626 for more information.

Lifts
We have two scenic lifts in the centre atrium, which connects both car park levels with Lower and Upper shopping. There is also a disabled lift, on Lower Parking, which provides a pedestrian entrance at ground level in Middle Brook Street and accesses all floors of the centre, including the Beales Café.

Pedestrian Entrances
There are numerous pedestrian entrances around The Brooks. For wheelchair and electric scooter users there are accessible entrances on Upper Brook Street and Middle Brook Street.

Toilets
The toilets are located in the centre atrium, on the Upper Parking level. There are baby changing facilities and an accessible toilet, which is operated by a RADAR key. This can be obtained from the centre’s security staff by ringing the bell adjacent to the toilet.

Security
The Brooks Centre is manned by Security staff throughout the centre’s opening hours. Security personnel are located in the Management Suite on Lower Parking level. They will be able to help you with any lost property enquiries and they are also first aid trained. The Security team can be contacted on 01962 849030.

Children’s Rides and Photo Booths
We have various different children’s rides (including the ever popular Iggle Piggle)! and a photo machine located on Upper Parking level.
